in memoriam whitney houston 1963-2012

American singer and occasional actress Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48. In her moment of glory, the 80′s and 90′s, she sold over 170 million albums and starred in box office smash The Bodyguard with Kevin Costner. However, after the 90′s her success and her life went downhill, fast. Whitney Houston started making headlines for her drug use, domestic abuse, drink problem and general bat sh*t craziness instead of her singing. She’s tried to make a come back several times, but she never really hit the high notes like she did in her glory years. It’s sad to see someone with all her talent, money and fame go the way she did, but the world will keep on turning and there are worse things to worry about, like people dying in Syria for a slice of freedom.
